Debbie Robson, RMN, PhD

Debbie is part of the Nicotine Research Group in the National Addiction Centre, King’s College London and has over 30 years clinical, education and research experience in the field of mental health. Her current role involves the development, implementation and evaluation of tobacco dependence treatment initiatives for people with mental health and/ or substance use problems who smoke. Debbie is part of the NIHR Applied Research Care (ARC) South London team where she leads a programme of research about tobacco dependence and treatment across several acute and mental health hospitals. She is also part of SPECTRUM, a MRC funded consortium that is investigating the commercial determinants of health and health inequalities. Debbie is a co-author of Public Health England commissioned e-cigarette evidence reviews and has recently become a Trustee of Action on Smoking and Health.
